Safeguarding Children's Lives and Creating Opportunities

Child Policy

At Baridi Future Foundation, we are committed to safeguarding the children we serve while providing opportunities for sponsorship to help improve their lives. Our Child Protection Policy ensures that all interactions with children prioritize their safety and well-being.

Policy Overview

Protecting children remains a significant challenge for many communities and families across the globe. Millions of children endure circumstances that deny them a true childhood. They are left vulnerable to harm due to poverty, exploitation, discrimination, conflict, or natural disasters. Many faces violence, abuse, and neglect, and some fall victim to human trafficking or are forced into dangerous, degrading work—including sexual exploitation, even in our increasingly digital world. It’s clear that issues of child protection are deeply tied to children’s rights: when children, their families, and communities are empowered to advocate for their rights, child protection is inherently strengthened. For instance, children have the right to education and access to healthcare.

With this in mind, World Vision’s projects, as a child-focused organization, are committed to addressing child protection and promoting children’s rights. Our efforts aim to prevent children from being exposed to danger in the first place. In urgent cases, our teams intervene swiftly to protect children at immediate risk. We also provide rehabilitative care for children who have already suffered exploitation and abuse. The positive impacts of these efforts extend to every aspect of children’s lives, as well as their families and communities. By ensuring a safe childhood and advocating for education, children grow into young adults who can use their skills to uplift their families and communities.
